Dear CUPE leaders,

CUPE members and community allies are going to Queen’s Park on Monday to “get in line” and make sure the government takes real action to get Ontarians off wait lists and out of poverty.

More than 2 million Ontarians are still waiting to get off wait lists for long-term care, developmental services, child care, home care, affordable housing and other public services, and for long-overdue increases to minimum wage and social assistance rates to end the poverty cycle.

Participants include CUPE Ontario, Canadian Federation of Students, Freedom 90, Put Food in the Budget, Ontario Coalition for Better Childcare, Workers’ Action Centre,  and others.
