Equal Pay Day is April 16

Pay equity is the law in Ontario, but the latest data shows that women, on average, earn 31% less than men. That’s 3% higher than the year before. That’s not just unfair. It’s against the law.

With rumblings of an election around the corner, this is the time to demand a real commitment to closing the gender pay gap.

Sign the declaration

Sign the pay equity declaration to tell Ontario it’s time to pay women fairly.

As parties gear up for a possible election, let’s make sure pay equity is on their platforms. We need a concrete plan, we need a minimum wage that’s above the poverty line, and we need to enforce and expand pay equity laws.
