Fight the Toxic Durham P3 Incinerator
CUPE Ontario, in partnership with other local labour organizations and community groups is fighting Durham region's plan to build a trash burning Incinerator in Clarington. If built, the region would spend at least $236 million in taxpayer dollars.
Incinerators are linked to many public health issues, including asthma, respiratory infections, and birth defects.
