Committees

Ambulance Committee
CUPE represents ambulance workers in the municipal, hospital and private sector across the province of Ontario. [more]

Education Committee
Holds seminars and schools for CUPE members, usually in the spring and fall. [more]

Health and Safety
Focuses much of its efforts on campaigns for better workplace health and safety legislation, as well as healthy and safe work environments for all members. [more]

Human Rights
Has a broad mandate to tackle minority and Aboriginal workers issues, homophobia, issues affecting persons with disabilities, youth and women. Includes an International Solidarity Committee. [more]

Injured Workers Advocacy Committee
Works to promote the rights of injured workers in all CUPE sectors. Pursues advocacy and involvement in member WSIB claims, and supports training of local advocates. [more]

Pensions Committee
Works for a fair and equitable pension for all CUPE employees, and helps ensure that organizations that control members' funds, such as OMERS, are run in the interest of members, not employers
